This project included the strategy, creative development, 3D product visualization, animation, and delivery of high-quality CGI video content designed for ABSTRAKT’s in-store digital displays and related marketing screens for the launch of their new product The goal was to create visually premium, compliant, and loop-ready content that highlighted the product launch drop while remaining legible and effective in a retail dispensary environment.

The Brief

ABSTRAKT needed premium in-store digital content for their NEW product launch that could elevate product presentation inside a retail dispensary environment while remaining visually clear, compliant, and optimized for continuous playback across multiple screen formats. The objective was to create CGI-driven digital signage content that showcased product drops in a way that felt elevated and cinematic—without sacrificing readability, compliance requirements, or retail effectiveness. The challenge extended beyond creating attractive visuals; the content needed to function within real retail conditions, including bright displays, short customer attention spans, and loop-based digital signage systems while maintaining brand consistency across multiple placements.

Our Approach

We developed an end-to-end CGI content pipeline that combined creative strategy, premium 3D product visualization, motion design, and digital signage optimization tailored specifically for ABSTRAKT’s in-store environment. The project began with discovery and positioning—understanding strain messaging, compliance limitations, retail screen behavior, and product priorities. From there, we built a creative direction system that included storyboards, shot planning, pacing, and motion concepts designed for high visibility in-store. We created detailed 3D product models and packaging renders, paired with premium cannabis-appropriate environments designed to enhance product perception while remaining clean and legible on retail displays. Animation focused on seamless looping product reveals, camera movement, and readable motion graphics optimized for quick customer engagement. Final deliverables were rendered, color-balanced, and formatted for multiple retail touchpoints, including lobby displays, menu boards, and tablet experiences—creating a scalable in-store content system rather than one-off promotional assets.

The success of the initial project led to continued collaboration, with ABSTRAKT returning to commission additional CGI content for an upcoming product launch—reinforcing the effectiveness of the creative approach and establishing a scalable system for future campaigns. Rather than producing a single promotional asset, the project created a repeatable content framework that ABSTRAKT can continue building on as new products enter the market, helping maintain visual consistency while strengthening overall brand perception in-store.
